What a fucking awesome weekend. From INDUCTION BANQUET Friday night, to singing at YCOP Friendship games Saturday and then going home for some home cooking right after, and then heading to SAN DIEGO Sunday afternoon to Monday. GREAT GREAT GREAT!

The nail biting game came down to 32-35 in favor of Team Hot Omega Nights. Katipunan rocked and played a good game, and reguardless if you guys won or lost...it's how far you came, and you guys came pretty damn far. Great job team, fun times at Shakeys after as well. Happy Birthday Doti and Dwayne!!!

VSA Cafe Song Mo Talent Competition
|
|
|
The Vietnamese Student Association held its annual "Cafe Song Mo" Talent Competition last night. The show was to demostrate some of the small coffee shops in Vietnam where people perform and stuff...thus the mood lighting and candlelight. Jill and I entered just wanted to perform for everyone and represent Katipunan cuz they did point us out and stuff. Right before we went on, I had to speak at the KE Outreach Financial meeting...and then I raced back to the cafeteria. We sang "Crusin' " again, but this time with music. And when we made top 5, we were ecstatic. The 5 finalists had to sing a song acapella so we sang "Endless Love." And then everyone voted. So when the announced 3rd and 2nd we were like...aww its ok and stuff. Then they announced 1st place..."Jill and Christian!!!!" And man we took "jumping for joy" to a new level. Hahah ok so afterwards we took a bunch of pictures with our oversized novelty check. Then we headed out to T.G.I.Fridays and Diwata let me sip-sip her beer! Hahah but I didn't finish it...weeeakkksauceeee. Then we headed back to Riverside to pick up D's car. But we come to find that some loser fucking asshole broke into D's car and stole a bunch of her stuff....WTF MAN. There are some pics of the crime scene posted. The po po came and D wrote up a report and all. But man...WTF. Seriously. People these days. But we're glad you're safe D!!! SEE you all at Gobble Gobble tonight...peaceeeee

GROOVE EXPO

I was hesitant to attend Groove Expo because I have an exam tomorrow morning and a paper due Friday. But Pesus convinced me to go. Him and Norrie came to pick me up and we headed to the event. Paid the 9 dollars to get in, bought a raffle ticket, and went inside. Found everyone, about 30 minutes later the show started. In the end Karen and Tony and his friend took home first place in a tie, 909 2nd place, and this girl who did a cool medley 3rd. Afterwards Laur dropped me and Norrie back at the dorms. She let us ride in her truck bed which was wayyyy fun. Then I got to studying with the poli sci kids in the galley. Jill came over around 12:30 and we practiced for the UCRVSA talent show tomorrow @ 630 pm in the Commons Caf. YOU ALL SHOULD COME OUT! The winner is chosen by the audience...hint hint. And I know Katipunan rolls deep so yeah. Wish me luck on my test tomorrow and at the performance...PEACE. Oh and if the pics are kinda blurred...STFU and deal with it!!!!

CABINET MEETING

Tonight was the cabinet meeting. It lasted a good 4 hours. Afterwards I headed back to the dorms to take my hall pic. Then went to Boba Cafe and Dennys.
